本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了十条雀（风间俊介 饰）是个将满四十岁的“枯萎系”上司，十余年无恋情、生活一成不变。某天，他写下了“40岁前想做的10件事清单”，却意外被年下高大帅气部下田中庆司（庄司浩平 饰）看到。面对雀的慌乱，庆司提议：“这张清单，我们一起完成吧？”从此，两人开始共同实践清单，原本平淡的日常变得精彩纷呈，彼此的关系也悄然跨越年龄与职场的界限，展开一段温柔又微妙的办公室恋爱故事。

　　日本警视厅特殊部队（SIT）小队长濑文焚流（加濑亮 饰），在一次执行任务时遭遇队友的离奇死亡，面对高层他百口莫辩，最终被调职到公安部公安第五课——不明事件调查科。该部门专门调查一些匪夷所思的超自然案件，当然在所谓“科学昌明”的现代化社会，这也意味着第五课是一个很难得到认可的边缘部门。除濑文外，第五课只有油滑的上司野野村光太郎和智商高达201的怪女孩当麻纱绫（户田惠梨香 饰）。在此期间，预言师、神之手等各种各样拥有超能力（SPEC）的人物接连登场。
　　濑文在和当麻办案的过程中，渐渐趋近了一个鲜为人知且充满阴谋和秘密的未知世界……

　　The expanded third season picks up six months after the events of season two and follows Lt. Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito attempts to settle into her new life 500 miles from home with the Border Patrol, but stumbles across a conspiracy involving human and drug smuggling with far-reaching implications.

The uninhibited reactions turn everyday events into unusual situations.
