　　The family receives a ransom demand and cryptic messages from the kidnapper, and when family secrets are revealed, Wisting suspects that there may be a personal motive behind the disappearance. There is also enormous international pressure on Wisting and the team to solve the murder and find the boy before it is too late.

Playdate is based on American/Norwegian author Dahl’s (no relation to Roald Dahl) fourth novel.

　　并宣布阿尔菲·艾伦(《权力的游戏》《铁血战士》)和艾什·亨特(英版《汉密尔顿》、《秘密间谍》)新加盟，饰一对性格截然不同的兄弟：艾伦饰演Isaac Pincher，一个雄心勃勃、难以捉摸的七年战争老兵，他回到伦敦，与人合伙开了一家名Saracen’s Head的酒馆，这是他们从事性工作的幌子。亨特饰演Hal，是Isaac更安静、更谨慎的兄弟，也是这家公司的联合老板，他将在本季与激情四射的性工作者Emily Lacey谈恋爱。Lacey和皮条客有一个共同的目标——用他们的生命去实现一些事情。

　　《设得兰谜案》第四季已获得预定，依旧由Douglas Henshall主演，预计于2018年播出。第四季由David Kane担任主要编剧，将会延续第三季的模式，用六集篇幅讲述一个完整的案件。
