野兽家族第二季

　　加州圣佩得罗静静的河水上，一具冰冷的尸体随波飘荡。事是上这冰冷并不蕴含任何死亡的信息，这只是一个装着玻璃眼球的硅胶假人。随着这个假人的出现，它的真身—那位客串演员也将逐渐淡出人们的视野，淡出CBS人气剧集NCIS(《海军罪案调查处》)。
　　不过有人离开就有人回来，第五季NCIS我们迎来了马克·哈蒙（Mark Harmon）的回归。这次他出演的还是那位勇敢的特工Leroy Jethro Gibbs，又一个烫手山竽，于是我们主角来到了位于沿海地区俄罪案现场。身穿一件准路军的白T恤外加一件花尼夹克，一头银发这就是我们的主角带着旁边一个娃娃脸的特工Timothy McGee(或者叫Probie，由Sean Murray饰演)还有前任摩萨德组织成员Ziva David(由Cote de Pablo饰演)一起开始了沿河堤寻找所谓“死尸”的旅途。
　　拍摄休息期间，哈蒙从那明争暗斗的世界中回到了平静的现实之中。这时一个壮实的中年男子拦住了哈蒙，他手拄一根拐杖，静静地看完了刚才的这个排演。“你觉得圣佩德罗怎么样？”男子随意地问道。哈蒙突然表现地异常专业，边走边回答到，“是个好天”，嘴角露出只有他是Gibbs才有的那种狡黠，继而哈蒙又说道，“有什么可讨厌的呢？”。
　　那个男子的问题真是个好问题。蓝天，海风，随风细语着的棕榈叶，这样优美的环境可能只会让人想小憩一下，可是正是在这里哈蒙努力着自己的事业。九周的空白并没有使失去镇静，相反的，他在这里，在这NCIS继续着他的传奇。“这里很平静”，哈蒙说道，一边他还在他心爱的72年版Airstream首发版（一款概念车，也是哈蒙外出工作时的家）里搜寻着他生活的碎片：散落的照片，书本，背包还有他作品的DVD（有《Comes a Horseman》，《Cool Hand Luke》）。“现在我们一般每天工作12个小时，我们都有自己的剧本，一切井井有条。过去我们一天工作16小时，不过即使如此也没有人抱怨。在现场只有剧本才是重要的，毕竟巧妇难为无米之炊。所以，这里一切都很好”。
　　我们观察现场，似乎在现场的每个人，所有的演员和工作人员，都有同样的一个信念。出演验尸官Donald "Ducky" Mallard的David McCallum说到：“这一季的NCIS会是全新的。由于管理层的变动，整个工作团队被注入新的活力，大家的工作劲头也会更上一层搂”。
　　管理层的变动，David指的就是闹的沸沸扬扬的“NCIS之父”Don Bellisario离职一事，正是Don的努力才让NCIS走过整整四季的风风雨雨。今年四月，《电视指南》（TV Guide）报道说Bellisario对细节的苛求和对剧本发放的疏忽让剧组拍摄的进程一再受阻，这也使一向温和的哈蒙难以忍受。几周之后，就有报道声称Bellisario决定离开NCIS，毕竟他手头还有像Magnum, P.I. and Quantum Leap这样的荧屏经典。于是合作制片人Chas Floyd Johnson和前任剧本作者Shane Brennan（现在也使合作制片人之一）接手成为NCIS剧组新的管理层。“这一季一切都进行得十分顺利”。

　　该剧根据1975年James Clavell的同名畅销小说改编。故事背景为1600年的日本，当时正值一场世纪内战的黎明，即关原合战。面对五大老中的敌人联合起来对抗自己，Yoshii Toranaga大名（真田广之 饰）必须为性命而战。
　　当一艘神秘的欧洲船只被发现困在附近的一个渔村后，船上的英国引航员John Blackthorne（柯斯莫·贾维斯 饰）带来了可能帮助Toranaga颠覆权力天平的秘密，这些秘密也可能摧毁Blackthorne自己的敌人——耶稣会教士和葡萄牙商人拥有的强大影响力。
　　Toranaga和Blackthorne的命运与他们的翻译Toda Mariko（泽井杏奈 饰）变得密不可分。Mariko是一位神秘的基督教女子，来自没落贵族血脉的最后一位家族成员。在政治局势动荡的时代，Mariko不仅要为她的大名服务，还必须在自己与Blackthorne建立的新关系、对信仰和先父遗愿的使命感之间找到平衡点。
　　原著通过西方和日本两个角度来讲述，背景设置在日本的江户幕府时代，原型是德川家康和三浦按针。

Every human being on earth has asked themselves these questions at some point, and most likely each person has found a different answer.This series will take viewers on a trip around the world to explore different cultures and religions on the ultimate quest to uncover the meaning of life, God and all these big questions in between.
　　The series seeks to understand how religion has evolved throughout the course of civilization, and in turn how religion has shaped the evolution of society. Although in our current geopolitical landscape, religion is often seen as something that divides, the series illuminates the remarkable similarities among different faiths, even those that seem to be in staunch contrast. This is a quest for God: to shed light on the questions that have puzzled, terrified and inspired mankind, not to mention Freeman himself.
　　Each episode is centered on a different big question about the divine:
　　Creation – Are there similarities among the religious creation stories from around the world? How do they compare with the scientific theory of the creation of the cosmos and the dawn of civilization?
　　Who Is God? – How has the perception of God evolved over human history? Is God just an idea, and if so, can we find evidence of a divine presence in our brains?
　　Evil – What is the root of evil and how has our idea of it evolved over the millennia? Is the devil real? The birth of religion may be inextricably tied to the need to control evil.
　　Miracles – Are miracles real? For many believers, miracles are the foundation of their faith. Others regard miracles as merely unlikely events on which our brains impose divine meaning. Belief in miracles, however we define them, could be what gives us hope and drives us to turn possibility into reality.
　　End of Days – Violent upheaval and fiery judgment fill popular imagination, but was the lore of apocalypse born out of the strife that plagued the Middle East two millennia ago? The true religious meaning of the apocalypse may not be a global war, but an inner revelation.
　　Resurrection – How have beliefs in the afterlife developed, and how has our reaction to the afterlife changed the way we live this life? Now that science is making such rapid advances, we may soon be confronted with digital resurrection. What will that do to our beliefs?
　　To explore each of these topics, host and narrator Freeman went on the ground to some of humanity’s greatest religious sites, including Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall, India’s Bodhi Tree, Mayan temples in Guatemala and the pyramids of Egypt. He traveled with archaeologists to uncover the long-lost religions of our ancestors, such as those at the 7500 B.C. Neolithic settlement Çatalhöyük in Turkey. He immersed himself in religious experiences and rituals all around the world, and became a test subject in scientific labs to examine how the frontiers of neuroscience are intersecting the traditional domain of religion.

　　主人公Ryan（《魔戒》中饰演Frodo的男星Elijah Wood）是一个成事不足、败事有余废柴男，他用自己的方式与这个不公平的世界抗衡，可是……每次结果并不如他想的那样完美，直到遇见了他邻居的一条宠物狗Wilfred，一段奇特不可思议的羁绊便展开了。其他人看到的Wi lfred是一条普通的宠物狗，然而Ryan眼里的Wilfred是一个粗鲁但真诚、勇敢的澳洲小伙子，他总穿着一件有狗耳朵的毛绒戏服。Ryan的世界是严重混乱的，Wilfred用自己方式教会他如何克服对外界的恐惧，融入正常人的生活，同时保有最纯真的那个Ryan... 

　　Following the discovery of Kobol, the arrest of Laura Roslin, and the attempted assassination of William Adama, the Fleet finds itself thrust into more peril, but, with the discovery of Pegasus and New Caprica, also hope. Yet, all prospects of a better future are squashed sooner or later.
